Product Description

John Bunch’s album from 1977 introduced his 2 proteges, tenor saxophonist Scott Hamilton plus trumpeter Warren Vache Jr. Opening the CD is the aged Claude Hopkins theme “I Would Do Anything For You,” along with a haunting Strayhorn theme, “Lotus Blossom” is moreover included, and “The Man I Love,” a great double-time romp found on the Gershwin standard. Along for the ride is bassist Michael Moore plus drummer Connie Kay.
